6357. Week 7. Start Seeing Diversity


Open you heart and your mind and embrace diversity!

 
 
Differences among people
Include the believes,
Values, goals, and
Expectations each one has,
Regardles of what others
Say or consider
Is wright or wrong.
This is what make
You to be UNIQUE

    I love the way you used the letters in the word diversity to provide meaning for the word. I appreciate your art and you words. I fully agree that diversity includes the differences in values and beliefs.

    I agree with your meaning of diversity. Diversity is what makes us unique from each other. This course has helped me to see that it is not whether we agree with someone or not. It is more about respecting who they are for their differences.

  3. This is a unique poem; it is very valuable for young children to learn all about diversity. This poem is so great, it should be made into a poster for the entire Center to read and admire. I know that from learning about diversity, I am able to look inside myself and find out that the things and people I disliked before, I now find UNIQUE. I think my critical incident that created cognitive dissonance in me was that we can learn from everyone if we are willing to communicate openly and have patience and know that we are all unique in our own way.
